Listed below is the program of meetings to be held at the Brant County Branch OGS Resource Center at 114-118 Powerline Road in Brantford. The meeting specifically designed for beginners or for those who are returning to research after a few years break; they are ideal for Brant County Branch OGS members and non-members, long-time members and for those who are new to family history research. New members are encouraged to take part and we also welcome those who want to learn more about a particular topic. Non-members are invited to attend the meeting and all first time visitors will be given an introductory tour of the Brant County OGS Resource Center. The presenters are all experienced in their area. We welcome all, wherever you may live.

Please arrive in good time for each meeting as the meeting will start promptly.

Have just retired and want to learn a new fascinating hobby? Or are you someone who always wanted to do your family tree and have never known how to go about it? On the third Thursday of the month the Brant Branch of OGS has a group that meets from 10 am to noon. This group discusses family research, helps people who are just getting started in family search. It is a great group of people who look forward to telling about their research or helping others. We meet in the Genealogy Resource Centre at Smokey Hollow Retirement Estate.

So Remember

Everyone is welcome and bring a friend. They will try to help with your family research and any brick walls.

British Study Group @ Brant County OGS Resource Centre

The Brit meets each month, the first Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm, in our Resource Centre.

We meet to help with the knowledge of other researchers that have learned much in their years of researching and are able to give some ideas where to search next.

Our Resource Centre does have many books etc relating to British research.

We donate a Tooney ($2) at each meeting which is donated to the Resource Centre to help with expenses of our branch
